DAY TWO

We painted the blue board cut out of Ceres -GREEN-
It is the Green Mountain State after all!!

We created paper-mache fruits and vegetables
using an armature of tinfoil
and coating it with colored
construction paper.

We made Onions -Apples- Hot Chili Peppers and Carrots today
in gradesK -6.
Some people love the feel of paper-mache paste
and some " not so much"
but every student tried their best.

At the end of the day we were proud
of the sculptures we made
and could see the beginning
of our Tunbridge Fair project for 2010.
Our "Ceres " was inspired by the artist
Arcimboldo who painted portraits that
were really collections of fruits and vegetables.
